SC Fiber Optic Pigtail
The SC fiber optic pigtail is the most frequently used version on the market. On one end of the product, there is a length of bare fiber. The exposed fiber can be fusion spliced to various fiber optic devices incorporating a pigtail, or a single fiber of a multi-fiber trunk. At the other end, a SC connector is available. The connector adopts cuboid shaped housing, as well as ceramic ferrule and sleeve. It adopts pull push style connection method, ensuring convenient use. Additionally, it features low cost, low insertion loss, and high durability, and it supports high density installation.
Our SC fiber optic pigtail is primarily applied for connection between the multi-fiber trunk and the terminal equipment or other types of fiber optic equipment. To illustrate, it has found applications in distribution frames, fiber-optic access networks, local area network, wide area network, and fiber to the home network systems.
