Features
Hydrocolloid dressing uses the unique lipido-colloid craftto disseminate hydrocolloids on the nonstick macromoleclar polymer and theacetate non-woven fabrics covered with Vaseline oil.

Advantages
Hydrocolloid dressing helps promote the autolytic debridement of the wound.  Hydrocolloidscan absorb the excess wound exudate or toxicant and form a gel, maintaining amoist wound healing environmentand avoiding the adhesion of the dressing to the wound.  Hydrocolloids also help promote the growth ofthe granulation tissue.

Suggested Application
Hydrocolloiddressing can be used in the final healing stages of surgical wounds, burns,scalds, skin abrasions, donor sites and chronic wounds.  It is especially an effective treatment for pressuresores, leg ulcers and infective ulcers.
