The RFMV1500 CNC vertical machining center is one in a family ofRIFA built VMCs.  The machine packs a 4500 rpmspindle speed and 15mpm rapid traverses. The X, Y, Z axis range is 1500mm× 850mm×750mm. A 1600mm×850mmT slotted table is included.

Features
1. The machine base, column, head and cross slidcarriage of the CNCvertical machining center are constructed from high qualitycast iron.  An advanced machineconstruction, widened and fixed column design provide added rigidity anddurability.  Finite elementanalysis procedures are used to qualify the design.
2. Hardened sliding guide ways are used forthe X, Y and Z axis motions, providing increased rigidity.
3. Servos couple directly to the high precision ballscrews of the CNCvertical machining center, eliminating gears andpreventing backlash and servo drag.  Pre tensionedball screws provide increased rigidity and thermal stability.
4. The spindle of the CNC vertical machining center is supported by sixpermanently lubricated precision bearings, which are true cartridge typeunits.  A refrigeratedspindle cooling system circulates oil around the spindle andbearings.  This maintains constanttemperatures across a range of ambient and operating conditions.
5. An encoderis mounted on the spindle, realizing rigid tapping as well as accuratepositioning.
6. A FANUC 0I controlling system is standard.  MITSUBISHI is optional.
