Insulation Piercing Clamp (Flameproof 1KV)

SMS insulation piercing clamp is used for branch connection of overground cable, indoor insulation cable, insulation cable in distribution system of buildings, streetlights or tunnels, general insulation cable as well as flameproof cable.

Features
Components of this insulation piercing clamp are all flameproof and can pass 960℃ fire hazard testing. The shell is made of corrosion resistant, weather resistant, UV resistant, high strength insulation material. The utilization of fastening torque screw nut with constant piercing pressure makes the installation simpler, safer and quicker. The piercing contact part and end cap of the branch line are waterproof (IP27) and can withstand voltage of 6KV in water.

Advantages
1. Mechanical property: the insulation piercing clamp will not break under the tensile force of the lead.
2. Waterproof, insulation property: underwater insulation strength achieves 15KV (medium voltage)/6KV(low voltage).
3. Temperature rise: in case of large current conveyance, the temperature rise of the clamp is lower than that of connecting lead.

Mechanical property: no fracture even under breaking force of wire
Waterproof: insulation under water is 15KV under medium pressure and 6KV under low pressure
Temperature variation: Less rising temperature of the connector than that of the wire when working
