Complex Suspension Insulator, Bar Type

The bar type complex suspension insulator is composed of insulation core rod, silicon rubber shed and insulator set fitting.
The insulation core rod is the abbreviation of epoxide resin glass core rod. Its main job is to bear the mechanical load. With high tensile strength, the core rod can withstand the load of more than 800-1000Mpa. Its specific strength is 5 or 6 times of that of quality carbon structural steel and it does not decrease much after burdening high load for a long time. At the same time, it is the main component of internal insulation. Even when the insulation core rod becomes damp, it still has good insulating performance.
Silicon rubber shed is used to protect the insulation core rod from the rain and snow and provide creepage distance and external insulation. It is made from polymer silicon rubber with flame retardant and coupling agent, through vulcanizing process. Silicon rubber shed is corrosion resistant, anti-aging, and provides good electric insulation. In addition, it has high pollution flashover voltage. In fact, the pollution flashover voltage of complex suspension insulator is 100-150% higher than that of porcelain insulator with the same creepage distance.
