Cold Applied Insulation Boot

Silicone rubber insulating boots are also called cold application insulating boots. The product can be used in switchgear and transformers with insufficient clearance to operate in air or to prevent flashovers due to rodents or extreme humidity.

The highly elastic insulating boots made of silicone can be installed between the cable lug and the bushing to prevent the metal parts, such as terminals, from being oxidized and corroded. Moreover, the insulating boots are also used to ensure the insulation between the phases.
