Traditional snow removing agent usually requires theexposure to sunlight or the crushing force from vehicle tires to achievedeicing. The deicing speed is slow, and large amount of agent is required.Also, conventional products are mostly harmful to environment. They may causecorrosion to vehicles, bridges, and ground surface, as well as undergroundwater pollution.

In order to solve the environmental pollution problem, we developed a new typeof road deicing salt which can automatically generate heat to achieve snowremoval. Its usage amount is only 1/4 of traditional products. This new type of road deicing salt g. Compared to ordinary products, it has overtwenty-fold reduction in corrosion for groundand bridge, and it has the function to repair the small cracks on road surface,and improve road surface strength. Thus, the service life of road is extended,and ground is effectively protected. Theexperiment proves that vegetation on both sides of the road is not affected andalkaline soil can be improved as well. Hence,our product is an eco-friendly replacement of traditional ones.

Able to generate heatautomatically when contact with water, our snow removing agent is able tode-ice even during nights and in aphotic places,without any need of direct sunlight or wheel crushing. It can be used in urban roads, highways, tunnels and low temperatureand cold areas. For example, it has been used in South Korea and Hokkaidoregion of Japan for many years. Designed according tolocal environmental factors, minimum temperature,soil acidity conditions and adopting plant chemical reaction technology,our road deicing salt has the same performance with acetate snow deicing salt. Forexample, it hasno corrosion effect on carbon steel.

Road deicing salt is granular or particle size and piece diameter is equal toor smaller than 1mm to 5mm. Waterproof packaging is used and weightis 25Kg for eachbag. At the same time, we can also customize package according to customers’requirements. There are many ways for applications, including manual throwing,machine spreading and spraying solutions with different concentrations. Duringoperation, specific method should also be determined flexibly based on manyother factors such as snowfall speed, snowfall volume, ice thickness,temperature, traffic and so on. Of course, pre-spreading a certain amount ofthis product has better effect.
