The serial ATA (SATA or Serial AdvancedTechnology Attachment) is a typical computer connector. This computerbus interface is used for connecting host bus adapters to hard disk drives,optical drives and other mass storage devices. Compared with the older parallelATA (PATA), it has 7 conductors instead of 40, resulting in reduced cable sizeand cost. In addition, this computer connector also features native hotswapping, and achieves more efficient transfer through an (optional) I/Oqueuing protocol and faster data transfer through higher signaling rates.

The computerconnector mold is used to make the shell of computer connector. The casing ismade of LCP, offering good strength, heat resistance, insulation, and corrosionresistance, further protecting the normal work of the connector. In addition,the shell is produced with the size of 42.9mm × 4.0mm × 11.5mm.
This mold comes with a size of 300mm × 250mm × 361mm, and weighs 190kg. Thebase material adopts LKM S50C steel, while the cavity material selects SKD61and VIKING steel. Working at stableperformance, the mold can produce 1KK pieces of the computer connector housing.In order to improve production efficiency, it is designed with four cavities,so as to process four products simultaneously.
