In comparison to the single row angular contact ball bearing, the double row angular contact ball bearing can accommodate large combined loads with a large radial component and a small axial component, as well as a tilting movement. With a 30 degree contact angle, it can limit the bi-directional axial displacement of the shaft or casing. It is usually equipped with a nylon or brass cage.
