FOWAY8000N Series Digital Video Converter

1. FOWAY8000N series digital video converter from HiOSO is a combination of TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) technology and ADM (Add-Drop Multiplexing) technology. It is a video optical transceiver that adopts uncompressed digital video transmission method.

2. As a cascaded optical transceiver, this product adopts 1.25G or 2.5G optical transmission platform, which can simultaneously transmit 8-channel or 16-channel video signals in 1-core fiber. It supports 8 or 16 nodes. Its remote equipment can accommodate 1-4 channels of video signals. Local equipment can output 8-channel or 16-channel video in real time.

3. The digital video converter supports function extension by adoption of modular design. Each remote transceiver can offer 2 channels RS-485/422 shared data as well as 2 independent channels point-to-point data/audio signal. Additionally, both remote transceiver and local transceiver can transmit multi-channel audio, data, contact closure and other signals by increasing the number of audio/data expansion board.

4. As an option, this network device can support optical chain protection function, which can automatically avoid fault nodes so as to guarantee normal operation of other node transceivers. It can be installed with network management plug-in to realize network management function of both remote and local transceivers.
