1. HiOSO FM280 fiber modem is a kind of RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 serial fiber optic modem. It is designed to meet industrial standard. When applied to industrial control equipment, this product can extend the transmission distance of control data so as to realize remote control.

Thus far, many users have utilized the fiber modem to solve the problem of electromagnetic interference in projects. Additionally, RS-232/RS-485/RS-422 serial transmission distance can be extended to several kilometers or even tens of kilometers.
3. FM280 can provide users with port-to-port transparent transmission among RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 serial ports. Due to the adoption of fiber optic transmission, optical signals transmitted through fiber cables cause no electrical conductivity. With ultra strong anti-jamming function, the fiber optic communication system is not affected by thunder, lightning, or high voltage electricity.
Characteristics of the Fiber Modem

3. This fiber internet modem can automatically detect serial signal rate. Also, it can distinguish and control the direction of data transmission.
4. Its operating wavelength is divided into 1310nm (multimode) and 1310nm (single mode).
5. Its maximum band rate reaches 500Kbps.
6. Optional fiber interfaces include ST, SC and FC interfaces.
7. The distance of multimode communication is 2 kilometers, and the distance of single-mode communication reaches 120 kilometers.

9. Our fiber modem provides 1500W surge protection and 15KV electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection.
