We have the waterproof dimmable LED driver to function with two kinds of dimmers including the 1V-10V and resistive types.

The waterproof LED driver with 1V-10V dimmer uses the analogue dimming technology to set the light level between 10% and 100% of light output. Most LED light drivers that use the 1V-10V dimmer would also require an external 10VDC power source. It should be noted that this type of dimmer does not reduce the light brightness to zero.

Similar in function to the first type, LED driver with resistive dimmer also needs an external 10VDC power source. Besides, a variable resistor is required to control the LED light output.

Each of our dimmable LED drivers has two ends. At one end of the dimmable LED power supply are three terminals, each prepared for connection to the brown live wire, blue neutral wire, and yellow or green ground wire. Generally speaking, the wire would measure 0.75mm² in cross-section area and 38cm in length.

At the other end of the LED power source are two terminals, each for connection to the red positive wire and white negative wire sticking out from the dimmer.

Please note:
1. To connect the LED driver to the LED light, some consideration must be given as to how to wire them up.
2. To avoid the LED light being burned out, please connect the DC output port of dimmable driver to the LED light before the whole fixture can be connected to the electricity supply.
3. Measures should be taken to protect this outdoor LED driver from high pressure or shock.
