Features and Functions
Dust and Water Protection-The PX-558 VHF/UHF handheld radio transceiver is approved to dust and water protection Class IP67.
Voice Guide-English and Chinese voice guide are all available. The walkie talkie broadcasts current channel number to avoid maloperations.
Non-standard CTCSS/DCS Input-Users can freely set the CTCSS/DCS based system according to their specific requirements. Hence, the product meets various demands of customers.
Emergency Call-When encountered with emergency, users can press the side key. Then an emergence siren is sounded and the preset alarm code will be send to partners or the control center to inform the receiver of the reporter's conditions, thereby achieving higher security.
Busy Channel Lockout-The function disables transmission when the channel is busy. Therefore, conversations on the channel wouldn't be interfered.
Voice Operated Transmission-The feature makes it possible for users to trigger the transmission only by speaking when their hands are occupied. The transmission ends as soon as the user stops talking.
Scan-The function enables users to receive any call on the channel without hand operation. Scanning priority is set flexibly using write frequency software. Priority scan helps users to monitor commonly used channels and frequencies.
Selection of High and Low Power-The output power can be easily changed by write frequency software. Reasonable power should be selected to save battery energy.
Time-out Timer-The time-out timer limits the time of each transmission to a certain period of time so that transmission won't occupy the channel for too long. This function is necessary to protect the transceiver from thermal damage caused by long time of transmission.
User-defined Keys-The transceiver has many functions including monitoring, scan switches, priority scan function, high and low power adjustment, frequency inversion and offline, etc. Users can assign these functions to certain keys, thus allowing themselves quick access to frequently used functions.
