The phosphor bronze wire cloth is woven by using the phosphor bronze wire which is the copper-tin alloy containing 4% to 9% tin and approximately 0.25% phosphor with the balance copper. This kind of alloy wire is resistant to corrosion and abrasion. It was often used for making fine mesh.

The phosphor bronze wire cloth is produced with the specification of 8mesh/inch to 400mesh/inch. It can be divided into the plain weave type and twilled weave type. The product shows the performance of no magnetism, resistant to abrasion, acid and alkali as well as good ductility. It is frequently used for sieving various particles, powder, porcelain clay, glass and porcelain printing as well as for filtering liquid and gas.
