Drywall Steel Track

The PittingTrack series drywall steel track is crafted from galvanized steel. It can provide effective support for steel studs when fastened at the floor or ceiling. Our model features a knurled flange that contains a pattern of small ridges, preventing screws from "walking". This design does not negatively impact the strength or thickness of steel. PittingTrack 25 has been tested extensively with 25 and 20 studs, it is apparent that the track does not have to be same thickness as the stud. It is possible to submit a lighter gauge track with pitting20 studs to reduce costs.

The drywall steel track is available in both 25 EQ and 20 EQ gauge steel. A hemmed track may be requested with the 25 EQ gauge steel. We offer standard widths of 1-5/8" (16VT125), 2-1/2" (250VT125), 3-5/8" (362VT125), 4" (400VT125), and 6" (600VT125). Standard lengths include 10', 12', 14', and 16'.
