40ft Container
The 40ft container is based on thevolume of a 40-foot-long intermodal container. It’s a standard-sized metal box which can be easily transferredbetween ships, trains and trucks without removing goods. High cube containersare similar in structure but they are taller.
The 40ft container bears weights from 25 to 28 tons depending on type. The followingcontainer dimensions may slightly vary depending on factors like differentkinds of material or other specifications. Refrigerated and insulated unitsshow little dimensions and weight differences sometimes depending on materials.
