Operating Instructions of Dump Truck
1. While the fully loaded truck is lifting, thehand shank should NOT be turned to the “declining” position. If done, the truckbody will suddenly drop with a lot of impact to the frame. It is advisable tolower it gradually.
2. While the goods are being discharged, sudden lifting or braking isforbidden.
Sudden elevation of the truck body will bring about an inertia force, which isusually 5-20 times of rated lifting force at that time. This is likely to causethe permanent deformation of the frame, damage to the welding of carriage andframe, breakage of the seal ring and the destruction of hydraulic cylinder, etc. If this happens, the lifespan of the truck is shortened, and an overturnaccident may happen.
3. When all the goods are discharged, the power take-off should be disconnectedbefore the truck begins to move again. If the power take-off is left at the“joint” position, the lifting oil pump will operate at high speed without load. This will cause a rapid increase of the hydraulic oil temperature, resulting inthe destruction of the oil seal.
4. The power take-off should not be at the “joint” position when the truck isbeing driven. If it is still connected, the oil pump will continue to run andthis may cause the carriage to automatically lift while the truck is in motion. In this situation, the oil pump will be burned out due to the entry of oil, even if the pneumatically controlled distributing valve is at the “declining”position.
