Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU)

Hydraulic system consists of hydraulic power unit (HPU) and solenoid valve unit (SVU), is an essential unit to provide hydraulic energy for loading arms. HPU unit is outfitted with two hydraulic pumps, one of which is a back-up pump for higher system reliability. Accumulator is also available per customer’s request to deliver hydraulic energy for loading arms in case of emergency. A standby hand pump is provided for emergency operation, capable of retracting the loading arm to its original position when electrical power blackouts. Two options of speed are selectable for controlling of the connection between the loading arm and the ship manifold flange.
