Application
Hongxing magnetic separator is designed for removing magnetically susceptible materials from a mixture. It is applicable for wet type magnetic separation for materials with size less than 3mm, including magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, ilmenite, and more. It is extensively used in coal mining, non ferrous and building material industries.
Wet type magnetic separator is more commonly used in mineral processing, and it is also an ideal alternative to magnetic dewatering tank which is regularly used as the concentration equipment before filtration.
Design advantages
1. The magnetic system of the magnetic separator is made using superior ferrite material or compound material of rare earth and magnetic steel. This allows the cylinder surface to have an average magnetic induction of 100-600mT.
2. This magnetic separation equipment comes with simple structure, which makes it easy for operation and maintenance. Its production capacity is large, ranging from 10t/h to 280t/h.
3. Hongxing wet magnetic separator is classified into three types, concurrent type, countercurrent type and semi-countercurrent type.
