Olycom manageable fiber media converter maximizes the convenience for network management with its full compliance with SNMP, WEB GUI, TELNET and CONSOLE protocols, easy installation, and wide and flexible ranges of working modes and distances.
In its application, standalone managed fiber media converters are equipped at one end while cards integrated in chassis at the control center. In this way it can realize SNMP, WEB GUI, TELNET and CONSOLE management. And when standalone managed fiber media converters are paired without chassis, it can be managed via WEB GUI which is IP based.
OM1917 Media Converter Chassis is designed to concentrate both managed and unmanaged media converter cards. It is 19'',2U, with 17 slots and 16 of which are in the front for media converter cards while the other 1 in the back for management card or cascading card at local end.
