Through the use of InGaAs detector, Olycom desktop optical power meter provides a testing wavelength range of 600-1700nm and -80~ 10 dBm optical power measurement with high resolution to 0.001dB. The power meter has seven calibration points for wavelength of 650nm, 850nm, 980nm, 1310nm, 1480nm, 1550nm and 1625nm. It can display the optical power both linearly and nonlinearly. The desktop optical power meter is not only applicable to absolute measurement on optical power but also relative measurement on optical loss. The units for optical power display linearly are nW, μW and mW, while the unit for display nonlinearly is dBm, and for relative measurement, dB.
Features
The desktop optical power meter offers seven wavelength calibration points, automatic range switching, small size and light weight. With wide measuring range, the optical power meter can even measure optical power of -75 dBm.
Applications
The desktop optical power meter is typically used in the manufacture of photoelectric components, testing of optical communication system, and experimental measurement in colleges, universities and research institutes.
