Description
The GYDTA loose tube optical fiber cable is a self-supporting fiber optic cable which can be laid overhead. We provide different fiber counts, including 4 core, 6 core, 8 core and 12 core according to the requirements provided by customers. The attenuation of this fiber cable is 1.0dB while it transmits at the wavelength of 1300nm and the bandwidth of the fiber cable is 1000MHz.km.
Standard
The structure of the GYDTA loose tube optical fiber cable is to combine ribbon fiber optics whose radius is 250μm inside the loose tube which is made of high modulus materials. And the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. In the center of the cable core is a metallic strength member which is sometimes sheathed with PE for cable with particular fiber cores. The loose tube strands the central strength member to be a compact and round cable core. The waterproof fillers fill up the gap inside the cable core. The APL is longitudinally wrapped and sheathed with polyethylene to form the cable.

The following measures are adopted to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cables
Using single steel wire as central strength member. Filling up the loose tube with special waterproof compound. Using double sided PSP to improve the moisture resistance of the optical fiber cables. Using APL as a moisture barrier.
