ZW2-27.5/T1250-2500/25-31.5 Outdoor Single Pole Vacuum Circuit Breaker

The ZW2-27.5/T1250-2500/25-31.5 outdoor single pole vacuum circuit breaker is a railway circuit breaker developed based on the 3AF technology introduced from German Siemens. Its rated current is up to 2,500A and the short-circuit breaking current reaches 31.5KA. The rated current of switching capacitor bank is 630A and the mechanical life is 10,000 times.

This product is the first domestically produced outdoor single pole vacuum circuit breaker for electrified railways. It is especially suitable for parallel capacitor bank power compensation systems.

Firstly put into operation in Houma power supply segment of Taiyuan Railway Bureau in 1993, this outdoor single pole vacuum circuit breaker has so far been widely used in many electrified railways, such as the Houma-Yueshan railway, Datong-Qinhuangdao railway, Lanzhou-Xinjiang railway, Qianan-Caofeidian railway, Nanning-Kunming railway, Baoji-Chengdu Railway, Zhundong railway and other coal transportation trunk lines. It is also used in the parallel series compensation projects of Chengdu Railway Bureau and Nanning Railway Bureau.

Since 1997, our outdoor single pole vacuum circuit breaker has been adopted by the Turkish Ministry of Railways as the designated substitute for ABB circuit breaker. Large batches of products were exported to Turkey in 1997, 1999 and 2001.

Features
1. This single phase circuit breaker uses vacuum interrupter as the arc-quenching component and vacuum silicone grease as the external insulating medium.

2. Its rated voltage and frequency are AC 27.5KV and 50Hz respectively.

3. The operating mechanism of this single pole vacuum circuit breaker is of spring energy storage type. The energy storage as well as opening and closing operation can be completed manually or electrically (AC or DC).

4. The vacuum interrupter and the operating mechanism are produced with the technology introduced from German Siemens.

5. With characteristics of simple structure, strong breaking capacity, complete operating functions, and no explosion hazard, this product is specially used for opening and closing loads as well as for breaking fault current in the direct supply system for electrified railway. It is particularly suitable for occasions requiring frequent operations.
