The 3-side seal tablet / capsule packing machine is basically designed to bag more than 2 pills per operating cycle. An L-shaped heat-sealing bar is used to seal the three edges: the top edge, bottom edge, and one side edge. After the top seal is acquired, a scissor-like cutter is used to cut of the bag from the rest of plastic film.

This series of packing machine is specially intended for packaging single product rather than mixed pills of two kinds or more. The resulting packaging generally has width below 30mm and length less than 50mm.
