Advantages
The longitudinal snapping and separation device consists of longitudinal snapping wheels, separating rollers, their respective presetting tools and pneumatic actuating devices. It is used to snap small-size glass plate along the longitudinal shear mark in the middle and keep certain intervals between the parts that have snapped off. As soon as the command for longitudinal separation is sent by the cold end control system, the longitudinal snapping wheel and separation roller, driven by the pneumatic actuating mechanism, will reach the preset positions where the glass plate with shear mark is snapped into parts by gravity or pneumatically. Then the longitudinal separation roller separates the parts and keeps an interval between them.

Use
The longitudinal snapping and separation device separates the glass ribbon longitudinally into several ribbons, which facilitate cutting them into glass panes of certain sizes.
