Gantry Crane

The gantry crane is a variant of the overhead crane. It is mainly used for loading and unloading cargoes in outdoor freight yards and stock grounds. Its metal structure adopts portal frame with two legs supporting the girder. The two legs can directly walk along the ground rails. Both ends of the girder can be equipped with overhanging cantilevers. The gantry crane features high space utilization, large coverage, wide adaptation and versatility. It is a widely used lifting machine in port freight yards.
