General Description
Our self-healing low voltage shunt capacitor includes two types, BSMJ and BSMJABCD. It adopts advanced metallized film and is produced in strict accordance with the National Standard and IEC Standard by the introduced advanced foreign technology and equipment. Main Features
1. Small Volume and Light Weight
Due to the adoption of a new dielectric-metallized polypropylene film, the volume and weigh of our BSMJ series low voltage shunt capacitor are only 1/4 and 1/5 of those of the outdated products respectively.


2. Low Loss
The actual loss is less than 0.1%. Our product gives out little heat with low temperature rise, so it can save energy and its service life is very long at the same time.


3. Excellent Self -Healing Performance
Partial dielectric breakdown caused by over-voltage can heal quickly and the power capacitor can return to normal state automatically, which significantly improves the reliability.


4. Safety
Our product is equipped with self-discharge resistor and safety device. The self-discharge resistor can automatically discharge the electric energy the shunt capacitor carries. When failure occurs, the safety device will cut off power in time, thus preventing further troubles from happening. So it’s much safer to use this kind of low voltage power capacitor.


5. No Oil Leakage
This product uses advanced semi-solid impregnant whose drip melting point is above 70℃. There will be no loss of oil during the using course. This avoids environmental pollution and the power capacitor itself does not have to run the risk of invalidation caused by oil leakage.

Main Features

Our product employs the microcrystalline wax as the impregnant which remains solid at ordinary temperature and has a drip melting point higher than 70℃, so there is no oil leakage during operation, which prevents the environment from being polluted.
