The biomass gasifier is a kind of industrial equipment producing purified combustible gas from biomass materials. Firstly, the biomass materials (such as the rice hull, sawdust, wheat straw, and rice straw) are pressed into desired shapes, or simply crushed. Then, they are gasified under oxygen-insufficient condition so as to attain combustible gas. Finally, the biomass gasification plant will purify the gas to get the final gaseous product.

Gasification Principle of the Biomass Gasifier
Under certain thermodynamic conditions, the high polymer materials contained in the biomass materials will undergo a series of reactions including pyrolysis, oxidation, reduction, and reforming, with the help of air (or oxygen) and steam.
The tar generated during pyrolysis process is further cracked into hydrocarbon through thermal cracking or catalytic cracking, and thus, combustible gases such as CO, H2, and CH4 are attained.
