Striped Silk Fabric

The striped silk fabric, or silk twill, has a pattern of diagonal parallel ribs. The pattern is formed by twill weave, in which the weft yarn goes over and under warp yarns with a step or offset between rows. With weft and warp yarns tightly arranged, the twill fabric is fine, soft and thick, with a 3D impression. The striped pattern distinguishes this series from the plain silk fabric.
