Description
The SSOD2 bypass disconnect switch shares identities with SSOD1 single-phase self-locking outdoor disconnector in service environment and technical standards. Differing from SSOD1 in respect of structure, this bypass disconnect switch is composed by combing two SSOD1 switches and one auxiliary disconnecting link. Hence, this selection of electric power components not only boasts excellent performances consistent with SSOD1, but also can realize two-way or three-way circuit outlet arrangement.
Configurations
This bypass disconnect switch is primarily designed with following configurations:
1. Connection terminal
It comes with silver or tin coated copper alloy clamp connected by adopting standard two-hole mounting method. Customers should choose bypass disconnect switches with appropriate clamp according to cable specifications.
2. Coupling hook
Our isolating switch makes use of hot dip galvanized steel hook for loadbreak junction and fastening.
3. Main switch and by-pass switch
Both of the two switches for our bypass disconnect switches are made of double-deck, cold-drawn, round-edged copper blade, featured by high robustness and durability. Therefore, the main switch blade and linguate static contact can be closely connected after switching on or side switching on.
The moving contact integrated with switches is coated with high-density silver. It is designed in shape different from that of the linguate static contact to avoid contact bonding or abrasion. Besides, high-strength corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring provides certain tension required by static contact and switch.
4. Terminal block
The terminal block used by our bypass disconnect switch is made of high-conductive copper. It comes with silver coated surface to avoid oxidation and ensure reliable contact.
5. Insulator
The insulator of this high-voltage disconnecting switch boasts remarkable hydrophobicity and strong self-cleaning capability. It is also UV protected and weatherproof, the fabricating material of which can be porcelain, silicone rubber or epoxy resin.
6. Switch socket
Made from hot dip galvanized steel, the switch socket is integrated with base board and fixed by square neck bolt to guarantee consistent by-pass switching.
7. Mounting bracket
Our bypass disconnect switch is also configured with a mounting bracket made from hot dip galvanized steel for by-pass switch mounting. It safely secures the by-pass switch at certain angle, and provides much convenience for switching off.
