Under the high frequency magnetic field, a shield can generate eddy current, and then a magnetic field is created by the eddy current. This magnetic field has an opposite direction when compared with the original magnetic field, which can neutralize the original field and reduce the interference. Meanwhile, the shield is connected to the ground, so electric field screening is also achieved.

The above technique is called shielding technology, and it is adopted by our metal shielded power cable. As a result, our product shows strong resistance to lightning stroke as well as electromagnetic interference, and the power supply quality is also improved. This product is manufactured according to the enterprise standard, and it is used to deliver electricity in power line whose rated voltage is 0.6/1kV or lower.

Owing to its excellent performance, our metal shielded power cable is especially suitable for places that are equipped with precise electronic devices, such as computer center, intelligent building, high-rise building, missile launching site, monitoring center for aviation, etc.

Working Conditions
1. Max. working temperature of conductor for long-term application: 70℃ for PVC insulated type, and 90℃ for XLPE insulated type
2. Max. temperature of conductor during short circuit: 160℃ for PVC insulated type, and 250℃ for XLPE insulated type. Additionally, the short circuit should not last longer than 5 seconds.
3. Min. ambient temperature for laying: 0℃
4. Min. bending radius: 20 times of overall diameters for single core type, and 15 times of overall diameter for multi-core type.

Cable Length
1. The length for a single cable is not less than 100 meters, and short cable with length of over 20m is also acceptable, but its length should not exceed 10% of the total length.
2. The product length is negotiable.
3. The length error is within ±0.5%.
