Service Property
1. Rated voltage U0/U: 450/750V AC
2. Max. working temperature for long-term application:
a. 90℃ for XLPE insulated control cable.
b. For flame retardant PVC insulated and sheathed type, there are two choices including 70℃ and 105℃.
c. As for fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed type, 200℃ and 260℃ are available.
d. When it comes to fluoroplastic insulated and 105℃ flame retardant PVC sheathed type, the corresponding value is 105℃.
e. The halogen free low-smoke flame retardant polyolefin insulated and sheathed type also contains two kinds which are 90℃ and 125℃.
3. Min. ambient temperature: For flame retardant PVC insulated and sheathed type, -40℃ and -15℃ for fixed and non-fixed laying, respectively. On the other hand, the values are -60℃ and -20℃ for fixed and non-fixed laying respectively for the fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed type.
4. Min. ambient temperature for laying: 0℃.
5. Bending radius when laying:
a. For non-armored and non woven armored products, the minimum bending radius is 6 times of the cable outer diameter.
b. For copper tape shielded, steel wire armored, or steel tape armored cables, the bending radius should be no less than 12 times of the outer diameter.
c. For fluoroplastic insulated and sheathed type, the bending radius is 8 times of the outer diameter or even higher.
