Properties
1. Chlortetracycline HCL is a brownish-yellow or yellow crystalline powder. This product is easily soluble in water. It is slightly soluble in ethanol and methanol, but insoluble in ether and chloroform.
2. Its stability is similar to that ofoxytetracycline. In terms of light stability and thermal stability, our product performs worse than oxytetracycline.
3. Its aqueous solution features the lowest stability in tetracyclines. It is easily damaged in neutral or alkaline solution.
Usage
1. As a broad-spectrum antibiotic, this product is resistant to both Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria. It is mainly used for facilitating animal growth and increasing feed conversion ratio. It is also used to prevent animal diseases.
2. Feeding low-dose Chlortetracycline HCL can not only lower the death rate of livestock, but also increase both weight and feed conversion rate.
3. Medium or high-dose feed is conducive to the reduction of Streptococcus-suis cheek abscess and the prevention of leptospirosis. It is also used to inhibit the airsacculitis, chronic respiratory disease (CRD), and the infectious synovitis of chicken caused by mycoplasma infection.
4. In addition, Chlortetracycline HCL is able to prevent cattle from bacterial pneumonia and anaplasmosis.
5. Chlortetracycline hydrochloride ointment can prevent superficial eye infection caused by tetracycline bacteria.
