The SHC1509 contactless card reader chip communicates at an operating frequency of 13.56MHz, and it is commonly accepted for identification, e-payment, access control and other fields.

The reader chip supports Huahong algorithm, stream encryption as well as three-pass authentication. The embedded receiver circuit is able to efficiently demodulate and decode signals that are compliant to ISO14443 Type A, while the transmit driver will drive the external antenna directly without using other active devices. In addition, this contactless card reader chip meets all the requirements for type A card as regulated by ISO14443.
