Our extruder screw and barrel are made of quality 38CrMoAIA from Baosteel. They come with hardness of HB260-290 after hardening and tempering, and higher hardness of HV930-970 after nitriding. The depth of the nitride layer is usually up to 0.7mm.


To further improve durability, Ni60 alloy coating is selectively applied to the barrel discharging end with the length of 400mm and the screw thread surface with the length of 800-1500mm. The coating thickness ranges from 1.8mm to 2.5mm, and the hardness exceeds HRC60. These provide our extruder parts with enhanced wearing resistance and extended lifespan.

We provide our extruder screw and barrel with 15 months of warranty, during which free replacement service is available. To suit varied demands, we can also manufacture products according to your design drawings and offer extruder screw design solutions based on your demands on the end products.
