HSS Tool Bits

The HSS tool bit is ground from the HSS billet by the users themselves into the cutter or screwer. It appears to be white bright. The product can be divided into the square cutter and circular cutter. Its material is mainly the high speed steel with the grade of M35, M2, W9, W4 and 4241#.

The HSS tool bit has high red hardness of HRC64 to HRC66, wear resistance, fast cutting speed, sharp edge shearing, high tenacity and good impact resistance. It is as good as the ordinary high speed steel in impact toughness and bending strength. But the service lifetime of the product is longer than that of the ordinal high speed steel by more than two times. After using the product, the production efficiency of the machine tool can be enhanced by more than two times.

The HSS tool bit is applicable for the ordinary lathe, semi-automatic and automatic lathe as well as the planing machine to complete the cylindrical processing, end face, inner bore, thread, plane, step, flute and cutting off. As the result of the good toughness and high hardness of the high speed steel, the cutting geometry parameters can be completed through grinding the high speed steel according to the needs. The hardness range of the product is HRC58 to HRC62, HRC63 to HRC65 and HRC68 to HRC70.
