The demountable steel rim refers to a wheel rim that comes without a wheel disc. Its simple structure reduces rim weight while maintaining a good rigidity and maximum payload on the minimum cross section. The bead seat is usually made into a bevel with an angle of 15°, giving the rim a tight fit.
The demountable rim is equipped with a heavy-duty wheel hub. This helps extend the use life of rim, increase the connection reliability between different parts on the rim, improve the torque of connecting bolts and nuts, and reduce the chances of loose wheel or rim. Currently available are three specifications: 22.5×8.25, 22.5×9.00, and 24.5×8.25.
