Working Principles

The U pipe solar energy collector depends on solar vacuum tube to absorb solar power. Heat energy is transferred by sheet metal to the U pipe. With the influence of circulation pump, water enters the inlet pipe and passes through the U pipe. Then, it flows into the outlet pipe so as to take away the heat of collector and be stored in the water tank.

Main Characteristics

1. With wide applications, this U pipe solar energy collector can not only constitute the integrated solar water heater with water tank, but also form a split solar water heater by being separated from water tank.

2. There is no water or dirt in the vacuum tube. Therefore, the long term use of this tube has no influence on the heat collecting efficiency. Meanwhile, the heat collector can still work as usual even if some vacuum tubes are broken.

3. It is really convenient to install and maintain our product. It can be placed horizontally or vertically without any restriction on the angle of installation.

4. The sheet metal is mounted on the standpipe which is placed on one side of the U shaped metal tube. Therefore, the pipe at this side can provide higher water temperature than that at the other side, and then the extremely strong flow power can be produced automatically. In this way, our U pipe solar energy collector can offer such advantages as superb effect of circulation of both cold and hot water, high efficiency of heat conduction, as well as water tight performance, no risk of pipe bursting and so on.
