Herbal Medicine Spray Dryer

ZPG herbal medicine spray dryer is suitable for drying theChinese traditional medicine products that are low in melting point and high in the sugar contents. According to the characteristics ofthe material, the spray dryer is able to determine the spray drying processconditions. Furthermore, the calculation andselection of the technological parameters are totally completed by computer. Therefore, our spray drying machine has highdegree of automation and convenient operation.

Working Principle
Heated by a heater, the air enters into the hot air distributor on the top ofdrying tower, then enters into the drying tower uniformly and moves in thespiral state. At the same time, the material liquid is sprayed into very finemist state droplets by a high speedcentrifugal atomizer, which helps increase the contacting area between thematerial and hot air. In a very short time,the droplets are dried into finalproducts, which are separated with the wet air by the whirl separator. Thefinal products will be collected in the material collection barrel, while the waste gas will be discharged through the induced draft fan.
All the hot air system, blowing system and air sending system ofthe herbalmedicine spray dryer have filters, whichprovide filtering treatment for all the air entering the drying system. Inorder to meet GMP requirements, all parts coming into contact with the materials are made of the stainless steel.

Features
1. The spray dryer has fast drying speed, with drying time between 10 to 20 seconds.
2.Due to a wall cooling device, the inner surface temperature is 80 °C, so the materials won’tbecome coking even when they stay on the wall for a time.
3. During drying, the temperature of liquid drops is relatively low. So, thedrying machine is particularly suitablefor the heat sensitive materials, which can keep the color, smell and taste of the materials.
4. Our machine adopts a special structure to prevent materials from sticking to the drying tower wall.
5. The special wind supply system for the final products will timely separatethe dried products with the hot wet air in the system, to avoid the possibilitythat the dried final products may absorb the moisture and form blocks.
