Description
Mid temperature alpha amylase is obtained by deepfermentation of Bacillus Subtilis. It is widely usedin the manufacture of starch sugar, alcohol, monosodium glutamate, as well asthe textile, dye and printing, papermaking and feed industries.

Working Mechanism
Mid temperature alpha amylase hydrolyzes the α-1,4-glucosidic linkages of gelatinized starch randomly tosoluble dextrins, reducing the high viscosity of the starch slurry.

Property
1. Temperature: Optimum 60-70℃, maximum 90℃.
2. PH: 6.0-7.0, Optimum PH 6.0. The midtemperature alpha amylase is deactivated if the PH value is below 5.0.
3. Ca2 : required.

MidTemperature Alpha Amylase Specification
1. Solid type:2000 u/g, 3000 u/g, 3500 u/g, 4000u/g. Premium grade: 4000u/g, 6000u/g,8000u/g, and 10000u/g. Liquid type: 1500 u/ml, 2000 u/ml, 2500 u/ml, and 3000u/ml.
2. Unit definition : The amount of enzyme needed tohydrolyze 1mg of starch in one hour at pH6.0, 60 ℃.
3. Standard: GB/T 24401-2009.

Application Guide
1. In the manufacture of starch sugar and monosodium glutamate: add the enzyme in the rate of 6-8U/g in the starch slurry(Concentration of starch syrup 16-17B, PH 6.2-6.4 , CaCl20.2%), andthen stir and heat it up to 85-90℃, keep for 30 minutes.
2. In brewing of beer, add the alpha amylase in the rate of 6U/g, keep at 85-90℃ for 30 minutes.
3. As a desizing agentfor silk, chemical fiber and cotton products that are not resistant to high temperature,add the mid temperature alpha amylase in the rate of 0.2%(2000u/g), keep at 50-80 ℃ for 20-40 minutes.
4. Others: Rate of use is generally 6-8U/g, Ca2 concentration 150ppm.

Package and Storage
Solid type mid temperature alpha amylase is packed in plastic woven bag, 20kg/bag.
Liquid type mid temperature alpha amylase is packed in plasticdrum, 25kg/drum.
Specific package requests are also accommodated.
The product should be kept in acool dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.
