Spiral Classifier
SpiralClassifier
Hongxing spiral classifier is typically dividedinto single spiral classifier and double spiral classifiers.
According to the depth of helical blade at the overflow end submerginginto the fluid surface, thespiral classifier can be classified into the following two types.
1. High weir type
In high weir type spiral classifier, the top part of the helical blade is abovethe fluid surface, while the blade center is below thesurface. This classifier is ideal for classification of ore minerals rangingfrom 0.83mm to 0.15mm.
2. Sinking type
The helical blade is completely submerged into the fluid. This spiralclassifier is an ideal piece of mineral processing equipment for classificationof ore minerals at 0.15mm to 0.07mm.
Applications
The spiral classifier iscommonly used in combination with ball mills, so as to achieve an enclosed mineralprocessing system. It functions to classifying various ore minerals, sands, andrelated materials, according to the material sizes.
