Description
The GYFTA armored fiber optic cable is self-supporting and can be laid overhead. This optical fiber cable can provide many options of fiber cores, ranging from 2 core to 36 core, according to our clients' requirements. And the radius of the fiber optic is 250μm. The attenuation of this optical fiber cable is 1.0dB when it transmits at the wavelength of 1300nm. And the bandwidth is 1000MHz.km.
Standard
The structure of GYFTA armored fiber optic cable is to combine the ribbon fiber optic whose radius is 250μm inside the loose tube which is made of high modulus materials. And the loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. In the center of the cable core is a FRP which is sometimes sheathed with PE for cable with particular fiber cores. The loose tube (and fillers) strands the central strength member to form a compact and round cable core. The waterproof fillers fill up the gap inside the cable core. The APL is longitudinally wrapped and sheathed with polyethylene to form the cable.

Adopt the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cables
Using the single steel wire as central strength member. Filling up the loose tube with special waterproof compound. Using double sided PSP to improve the moisture resistance of the optical cables. Using APL as a moisture barrier.
