Description
The GYFTY53 optical fiber armored cable is a communication outdoor fiber cable used in self supported aerial laying. It uses a double sided sheath to strengthen its structure for a better compressive performance, and can be used under the environment where the temperature ranges from -40℃ to 70℃.
Standard
The structure of GYFTY53 optical fiber armored cable combines a fiber optic with a radius of 250μm inside the loose tube made of high modulus materials. The loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound, and it will strand FRP to form a compact and round cable core. A waterproof filler is added to the gap, and the cable core is then sheathed in a PE inner sheath. The APL is longitudinally wrapped and is extruded with a PVC inner sheath. The double-sided PSP is longitudinally wrapped and sheathed with polyethylene to form a cable.

Features
The GYFTY53 optical fiber armored cable has great mechanical behavior and temperature characteristic. The material features a great hydrolysis resistance and higher strength, and a special grease fills the loose tube in order to offer additional critical protection. It also features a great compressive resistance and softness.
The following measures have also been taken to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cables
Using the single steel wire as central strength member. Filling up the loose tube with special waterproof compound. 100% cable core filling Double-sided PSP improves the moisture resistance of the optical cables. Great waterproof materials prevent water from seeping into the cable.
