The ZW2-27.5(55)/T1250-2500/25-31.5 outdoor two pole vacuum circuit breaker is developed on the basis of the 3AF technology introduced from German Siemens in 1983. Its maximum rated current is 2,500A; the short-circuit breaking current reaches 31.5kA; and the mechanical life is up to 10,000 times.

This product is the first domestically produced outdoor double pole vacuum circuit breaker dedicated for electrified railways. It replaces the product imported from Japan Meidensha.

Our outdoor two pole vacuum circuit breaker was put into operation in the Houma power supply segment of Taiyuan Railway Bureau in 1993. Up to now, it has been widely used in many electrified railway projects, including Houma-Yueshan railway, Datong-Qinhuangdao railway, Lanzhou-Xinjiang railway, Qianan-Caofeidian railway, Sanxin railway, Shuohuang railway, Zhundong railway, and other coal transportation trunk lines in China.
