Function
This varicella vaccine can stimulate the generation of the immunity against varicella-zoster virus. It is used to prevent varicella.

Specifications
Single dose is 0.5ml. The content of live varicella virus shall not be less than 3.3 lg PFU. After dissolution the dose volume of each vial of vaccine is 0.5ml.

Healthy persons older than 12 months

Packaging
The direct-contact packing material is 2ml vial made of borosilicate glass.
1 vial per person × one person per box (attached with one vial of sterile water for injection).

Storage & Transportation
The product should be kept at temperature below 8℃ and away from light.

Contraindications
1. It is contraindicated in individuals who have an anaphylactic reaction history of any constituent (including neomycin) of this formulation.
2. It is contraindicated in pregnant women.
3. It is contraindicated in individuals who are suffering from serious diseases (acute or chronic infections), fever, or any terminal immunological disease.
4. It is contraindicated in individuals who are systemically treated by steroid.
5. It is contraindicated in individuals whose total lymphocyte is less than 1200/mm3 or who have cellular immune function defects.
6. It is contraindicated in individuals who have geneogenous immunological disease history or whose family members have geneogenous immunological disease history.
7. Within 5 months before inoculation or within 3 weeks after inoculation, the administration of whole blood, blood plasma or immunoglobulin will affect the effect of this vaccine.
8. Within 6 weeks after inoculation, the subject should avoid the using of salicylate.

Adverse reactions & Treatment
1. It is a very low reactionogenicity in all age groups.
2. The reactions on the injection sites are usually mild and temporary.
3. In the clinical research on 600 babies and children, only less than 4% subjects have got sporadic papule. The fever (axillary-temperature is above 37.5℃) rate is lower than 5%. There are no significant differences between our product and control product (an imported vaccine).

Precautions
1. Adrenaline treatment should be prepared to prevent the unusual anaphylactic reaction caused by the product.
2. Generally subjects should accept a 30-minute medical surveillance after the vaccination.
3. Although the transmission of vaccine virus occurs extremely rarely, all persons possible to be infectious, especially those getting skin reactions within two to three weeks after the vaccination, should avoid contacting with pregnant women, leukemia sufferers and patients receiving immunosuppressive therapy, especially avoid contacting pregnant women at the first 3 months of gestation.
4. This formulation is for hypodermic injection. It should not be used for intradermal injection. Intravenous injection is strictly forbidden.
5. When opening the container, do not let the disinfector contact the vaccine product.
6. If the dissolution of the product is incomplete, the vial has cracks, or the label is unclear, this vial of product shall not be used.
7. The vaccine solution should be injected within 30 minutes after dissolution.
8. Women should perform contraception within at least 3 months after the vaccination.
9. After the vaccination, the subject should not be inoculated with other vaccines within one month.
10. Patients suffering from leukemia, tumor and immunodeficiency should use the product under the guidance of doctor.
11. As a live attenuated vaccine, this product is not recommended to be used during the epidemic season.
