Application
The PESA is a phosphate-free, non-nitrogen eco-friendly versatile polycarboxylate scale inhibitor and dispersant. It has good performance in inhibition and dispersion of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, calcium fluoride and silica scales. It achieves a synergetic effect when used with phosphates.

The PESA features good biodegradability and wide range of applications. Especially under high alkaline, high hardness, or high pH cooling water conditions, it achieves high concentration treatment.

PASP

Sodium of Polyaspartic Acid (PASP)

Application
The PASP is a water soluble polymer. It is also a green water treatment agent that is phosphate-free, non-toxic, pollution-free and completely biodegradable. It has a strong ion chelating ability and plays a dual role of corrosion and scale inhibitor. It works on calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, and calcium phosphate. Its calcium carbonate scale inhibition rate can be up to 100%.

The PASP is also a scale dispersant and can effectively prevent corrosion of metal equipment. It is an alternative to phosphorus water treatment agent to avoid water eutrophication and secondary pollution.

Application
The PAA is non-toxic and water soluble. It functions without scaling under alkaline conditions and moderate concentration ratio. The PAA can disperse microcrystalline or sediment of calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate, preventing them from precipitating, so as to achieve scale inhibition purpose. It is an ideal scale inhibitor for cooling water systems of power plants, chemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries and air conditioning.

Application
The SAP1100 is the partially neutralized salt of low molecular weight polyacrylic acid (PAA) homopolymer. It is able to disperse microcrystalline or sediment of calcium carbonate and calcium sulfate, preventing them from precipitating, so as to achieve scale inhibition purpose.

As a scale inhibitor, the SAP 1100 is equivalent in performance to Rohm and Haas ACUMER 1100. It is used as antifouling agent in circulating cooling water and boiler water systems. It is used alone with a concentration of 10-30mg/L.

ACUMER 2000

Modified Sodium Polyacrylate 2000 (SPA 2000) (ACUMER 2000)

Application
The SPA2000 is an acrylic-sulfonate copolymer, a high-performance water scale dispersant. It effectively prevents salts like calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate and other inorganic minerals from scaling. In the phosphate-based water treatment formulations, it plays a significant role in the stability of calcium phosphate. In zinc formulations, it serves as an efficient stabilizer of zinc salts.

Generally, the SPA2000 scale inhibitor achieves efficient dispersion of inorganic particles and resists the influence of pH value. Similar to ACUMER 2000, it is used alone with a concentration of 10-30mg/L.

Application

Application
The HPMA is a scale inhibitor used in alkaline environment. Due to excellent antifouling performance and high temperature resistance, it is widely used in flash unit for sea water desalination, low pressure boiler and industrial circulating cooling water system. When used alone, the concentration is generally 1-15mg/L. It is often compounded with organic phosphonate for water treatment. Its can peel deposited scale and inhibit the new formation, with an inhibition rate as high as 98%.

Application
The MA/AA has strong carbonate dispersion ability and high thermal stability. It can be used under harsh conditions like in high temperature of 300 ℃. It works with good compatibility and synergy with other water treatment chemicals. It achieves good scale inhibition effects on scales including phosphate.


The MA/AA scale inhibitor is widely used in low pressure boiler, central heating, central air conditioning and circulating cooling water systems. It is for a compound use with other organic phosphonate. The amount is usually 2-10mg / L.

AA/AMPS

Acrylic Acid-2-Acrylamido-2-Methylpropane Sulfonic Acid Copolymer (AA/AMPS)

Application
The AA/AMPS has a significant inhibition effect on calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate and zinc scales. It prevents the deposition of iron oxide, and has an especially high inhibition rate on calcium phosphate scale. Particularly for high pH, high alkalinity, or high hardness water, it is an ideal scale inhibitor which achieves high concentration treatment. It is also a good scale dispersant.

When used with organic phosphine, the synergistic effect is obvious. The suitable pH is 7.0 to 9.5 for compound use with organic phosphonate and zinc salt.

Application
The PCA has good dispersion effect on calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate in circulating cooling water. It also inhibits the deposition of barium sulfate, strontium sulfate and silica scales. It features good thermal stability and strong resistance to chlorine.


The PCA is widely used in industrial cooling water system and oilfield water injection system. It is also a boiler water treatment chemical. As a scale inhibitor, its performance is equivalent to BWA’s Belsperse 164. It can either be used alone with a concentration of 5-20mg/L, or together with organic acid, copolymer, zinc salt or BTA.

Application
The AA / HPA has good inhibition effect on the formation and deposition of calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and especially the calcium phosphate scale. It has good dispersion effect on iron trioxide, sludge, clay and grease. It is especially effective in inhibiting zinc salt deposition and calcium phosphate precipitation.

The AA / HPA scale inhibitor is applicable to alkaline and phosphate-rich cooling water conditions. It serves a variety of circulating cooling water, especially the high-turbidity and dust contaminated one. The normal dosage is10-30mg/L. It can be mixed with organic phosphine for a full organic (alkaline) formula.
