KE200 frequency converter is designed with an emphasis on high performing user experience. With optimized vector control technology, our frequency converter is capable of directly controlling the exciting current and torque current of the motor.
This vector control variable frequency drive or VFD has many powerful functions such as zero serve, slip compensation, torque compensation, speed control and accurate parameter identification. The inverter is able to achieve high-performance control of motors of any brand.
Integrating vector control (with PG/without PG) and V/f control (with PG/without PG), our high performance frequency inverter is widely used for control of precision machines and driving of multiple motors.
Product Features
1. Four-in-One Motor Speed Control Unit
KE200 frequency inverter is a perfect combination of vector control with and without PG and V/f control or with and without PG vector control. Hence, it easily copes with various complex applications; no matter it is precision machinery control or multi-motor drive.
2. High Starting Torque
Vector current control during the whole process makes sure that the frequency inverter can provide relatively high starting torque even without PG. Our adjustable speed drive can run with full torque and zero frequency when PG feedback system is available.
3. Overload Protection
When the motor torque reaches a certain limit, our frequency inverter can adjust frequency without varying the torque based on actual load conditions so as to protect mechanical equipment and ensure continuous operation of the whole system.
4. Fast, Dynamic Response to Changes in Load Torques
The dynamic response time is less than 20ms and is less than 3.5ms under vector control mode without and with PG respectively.
5. Quick Current-Limiting Function
This feature can quickly limit the current within the protection point, thereby avoiding alarm of overcurrent caused by sudden addition of load or disturbances. The frequency inverter reduces the possibility of frequent alarm of overcurrent to ensure safety of devices.
6. Accurate Parameters Identification
Optimized auto-tuning model of motor parameters reduces the sensitivity of the inverter on motor parameters and leads to more accurate parameter identification.
7. High Precision Torque Control
Torque control can be realized with PG vector control. With the control accuracy of ±5%, our variable frequency drive is able to complete tension control of coiler easily.
8. DWELL Function
The function is applicable for devices with heavy load. KE200 variable frequency drive can keep output frequency constant for a while to accommodate to load characteristic during the process of acceleration and deceleration of the system.
9. Motor Speed Tracking
Our frequency inverter can direct motor in free running status to set frequency without intervention from detector of motor speed. The function is applicable for driving of inertial load.
10. KEB Function
In times of power failure or instantaneous black out, the adjustable-speed drive uses regenerative energy to make the motor coast to stop.
11. Restart after Instantaneous Power Failure
With power on after instantaneous black out, the variable frequency drive can restart automatically to guarantee continuous operation of the motor.
Protection Functions of Frequency Inverter
1. Motor Overload Protection: The function is achieved by an electronic type over relay.
2. InstantaneousOvervoltage Protection: When output current reaches 200% of the rated value, the motor stops running.
3. Fuse Burn-Out Protection: If the fuse burns out, the motor will stop free running.
4. Overload Protection: The motor stops free running when output current keeps at 150% of the rated one for one minute. (150% for two minutes type can be customized)
5. Overvoltage Protection: The motor stops if voltage of the main circuit is higher than 410V/820V.
6. Undervoltage Protection: The motor stops if voltage of the main circuit is less than 190V/380V.
7. Instantaneous Power Failure Compensation: Operating mode returns to zero within two seconds in case of power failure, making the motor continue to run.
8. Cooling Fin Overheating: The cooling fin is protected by a temperature switch from overheat.
9. Anti-stall: The inverter starts and stops with accelerated rate and decelerated speed to avoid stall in operation.
10. Ground Fault Protection: The function is achieved by an electronic circuit.
11. Charging Protection: When DC voltage of the main circuit is less than 50V, the product doesn’t show charging.
Environmental Restrictions
1. Temperature: -10℃~40℃. Derating of the motor controller is required if working temperature is higher than 40℃ and the working temperature can not exceed 50℃. The frequency inverter should be derated by 4% with an increase of1℃ in temperature.
2. Humidity: ≤90%RH, no moisture condensation
3. Altitude: ≤1000m: rated power output; >1000m: derated power output
4. Storage Temperature: -20℃~60℃
5. Storage Circumstance: indoor, no direct sunlight, dust, corrosive gas, combustible gas, oil mist, steam, drip, salt, etc
