Description
The KLJK-3 15kV/600A screened separable connector is a kind of insulated and shielded termination. It is designed with separable structure, which means that bushing and stress cone can be detached.
The external surface of the screened separable connector comes with 3mm thick injection molded semiconducting layer connected to ground, and its inside is fitted with prefabricated semiconducting tube, thus internal and external shielding is achieved.
In addition, the product is designed with test point as well as protective insulating cap at the test point.
Features and Application of the Screened Separable Connector
1. This shielded connector makes use of EPDM insulation to provide insulated and shielded protection for transformers, switchgears and motors.
2. Extrusion-type installation makes for marvelous interference fit.
3. Our 15kV/600A screened separable connector can be connected to 15kV single core or three-core copper or aluminum XLPE conductor with 25-400mm2 sectional area.
4. It is also suitable for extruded cable with semiconducting shielding layer.
5. This shield connector can realize parallel connection with following connectors:
a. KLJC-2 15kV/200A cable connector
b. KLJC-2a15kV/200A cable connector
c. HY5W5-17kV/50A surge arrestor
