Mould Turning Machine for Semi-Finished Product

The mould turning machine is mainly used to turn the pre-set concrete through 90° so that the mould can be easily removed from the concrete to facilitate cutting. This process leaves two side plates of the mould on the concrete. The purpose of side plates is to support the preset concrete and keep it from collapsing. After demoulding, the incomplete mould combines with two new side plates to form a complete one again, which readily accepts the next concrete pouring.

The mould turning machine, or tilting equipment as some might call it, is a critical piece of equipment on the AAC panel production line. Demoulding is a process that comes after pre-curing. At the demoulding stage, the concrete panel is lifted in mid-air, and turned by 90 degrees when a mechanical manipulator unlocks the mould thereby removing it from the concrete. The concrete, along with two side plates, is standing on its narrow, lengthwise side and carried by a transfer car through a series of cutting wires.

Main Operations

1. The running gear of the mould turning machine is driven by a variable frequency speed reducer which ensures a stable running and precise positioning.
2. The machine relies on hydraulic power unit for lifting and lowering.
3. Guide wheels stabilize the machine during traveling. Synchronization can be achieved between rack and pinion lifting devices.
4. A tilting manipulator turns and rotates the mould under the action of hydraulic cylinder.
5. The hydraulic cylinder also enables the side plates to be locked with or removed from the rest of the mould.
6. When the side plates are removed from the mould, it is lifted up by the machine.

In sum, the mould turning machine is mainly comprised of the lifting device, demoulding device, running gear, tilting manipulator (hook), and guide post assembly.
