The 90º external corner bead is essentially a lower profile nib on the bead that reduces compound build-up in corners. This helps detect kick-out, effectively reducing the usage of skirting-boards. The EXANGLE corner bead has perforated metal wings that are angled at 84º, allowing the setting compound to penetrate through and underneath the bead.
